For the Musée de société des Deux-Rives (MUSO), brick is fantastic.
As part of a just-inaugurated exhibition, enthusiasts recreated buildings, places and events in the town of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield in miniaturized Lego versions. For example, we find the Grand Trunk tavern or the Jean De Lalande pedestrian bridge. The municipal planning services even pitched in by providing plans and quotes to the five local builders. Nearly 60,000 plastic bricks were used in this project!
In addition, activities will be organized around the theme, such as the creation of a collective work in Legos by visitors to the exhibition, speed competitions or even a family game where the blocks will be used to take on challenges and save the city. . The exhibition will be on display until November 12, before being dismantled.
