The court has indicted the suspect in the arson of the old Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Nantes. It is reported by the newspaper Ouest France.
It is noted that the suspect – 39-year-old volunteer gathering, a native of Rwanda. At first he denied the fact of arson, but after hearing the evidence, he confessed.
According to the man, he set fire to the Cathedral in three places – a big body at a small on and near the electrical panel. About the motives of his action are unknown.

Earlier in the case of a fire in the Cathedral volunteers was already arrested by the police, but after questioning he was released.
The fire started on the morning of 18 July and lasted for about 10 hours.
