A Danish diplomat and her family being accused by chinese media for breaking quarantine regulations by leaving her three children go for a walk with the dog, even though they were under hjemmekarantæne.
However, the Danish foreign ministry rejects outright that the diplomat resident in Beijing should have broken the rules.
The state-controlled newspaper Global Times writes, that the neighbor to the Danish family revealed the three children to walk the dog the 25. march, even if the children were in hjemmekarantæne.
They were, according to the Global Times in a two-week quarantine because they had arrived from Denmark.
Many chinese, according to the newspaper worried that the foreigners looking great on the corona-rules.
China should even be at risk to experience a new wave of corona infection because of the foreigners who import the virus, says the state-controlled newspaper.
But with the Danish ministry of foreign affairs is the message, that there are several errors in the article.
first, there was no question of quarantine, but on a voluntary hjemmeophold for the three children.
secondly, do you like to vent the dog, explains Erik Brøgger Rasmussen, the director of the organization and the citizens advice bureau in the Ministry of foreign affairs.
“Our diplomat has complied with the rules. The day in question, the rules were such that you like may go for a walk with the dog. It must be continued. But the rules change from day to day as things develop,” he says, and adds:
“the ministry of foreign affairs diplomats always comply with the rules of the countries they are in.”
the Dog was aired for the entire period of two weeks hjemmeophold, informs Erik Brøgger Rasmussen.
It becomes the still.
