A native of Minsk, singer and composer Rita Dakota released a song called “Go away” which was dedicated to the protests in Belarus. According to her, she would “give anything to this song never happened.”
The video with shots of the dispersal of peaceful demonstrations by the security forces Dakota was published on his page in Instagram. The performer noted that, most likely, will be banned in the country in which they live, her mother, family and friends.
Rita Dakota also promised that on 17 August, the song will be available for download, and every penny earned will go to Fund the victims on the protests in Belarus.
Earlier NEWS.ru reported that on August 12 Rita Dakota spoke about the suppression by the security forces protests in Belarus. According to her, she howled, “helplessness and injustice,” watching the net for how “peaceful people were throwing grenades”. The singer has addressed the Belarusian security forces with a call “to come to their senses and Wake up”, to ponder the question, where they will be once President Alexander Lukashenko will be in the court of the Hague.
