This is stated in the study by the research service of the international auditing and consulting network Finexpertiza, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru”.
According to the study, the number of marriages in April fell by 40.5 per cent compared to the same period last year, while the number of divorces decreased by 74.4 percent.
The most positive dynamics of marriage was observed in the Lipetsk, Voronezh and Penza regions. In these regions, unlike most regions, the number of marriages in April, has not decreased, but increased by 47, 14 and 11 percent, respectively. 8% more couples were married also in the Kursk region and the Chuvash Republic. In Moscow, where he recorded the most cases of infection with coronavirus, the number of weddings has declined by 24 percent in the period of self-isolation.
The reduction in the number of new marriages has been registered in regions like Kabardino-Balkaria (96 percent of marriages smaller in comparison with the same period last year), Mordovia (85 percent less), Chechnya (79% less) and Dagestan (78 percent less).
