on Wednesday it became known about death of the head coach of female Russian national team on wrestling 67-year-old Magomed Aliomarov. He died in hospital in Dagestan, while on the ventilator.
the President of Federation of wrestling of Russia Mikhail Mamiashvili told TASS on causes of death Aliomarov. According to him, the famous coach died as a result of infection by the coronavirus.
“Yes, the coronavirus. Do not want to believe, so many plans, so many tasks set, so much energy, – said the head of the Federation. – He created a team of all girls.”
With the advent of Aliomarov the head coach in 2019 the Russian women’s team regained the leading position in this sport. In 2020, the Russian team won the overall championship.
