The first case of infection coronavirus infection confirmed in the tundra of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YANAO). This was announced by the head of the operational headquarters of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district Tatyana Buchkova on Friday.
"In the Yamal tundra revealed a case of coronavirus infection. Known chain, where the infection got there, one of the residents had contact with relatives in the district center in the home, which was subsequently confirmed coronavirus. Today, he is already in the Observatory Salekhard, this test is still considered by epidemiologists questionable," she said.
Buckova noted that it is known to all who had any contact with in the tundra of cases. "people, epidemiologists selected tests, symptoms and laboratory-confirmed SARS test positive for the coronavirus while there is only one contact," she added.
The operational headquarters of the region together with the Yamal district, the district developed a tactic of eliminating further spread of the infection among the inhabitants of the tundra, as well as providing them with necessary medical assistance if required.
"All contact today taken to the Observatory, where people will be under the supervision of physicians. The evacuation will take place by the specially protected crews of aircraft", – said the head of oberstab YANAO.
According oberstab, on the territory of Yamal recorded 7 547 cases of infection with coronavirus. For the time of the Yamal doctors cured 2 930, 52 patients have died.
