Vladimir Putin has promised to leave all allowances for physicians struggling with coronavirus, in July and August. The announcement came during a meeting with the doctors on the eve of the medical worker’s Day.
The President reminded that payments to providers are exempt from taxes. The head of state proposed to take them into account when calculating holiday pay regardless of when the health care provider goes on vacation.
Putin noted the merit of the doctors that in Russia the situation with the coronavirus do not cause concerns. A growing number of recovered patients, according to a Fifth channel.
In addition to incentive payments, the President has established rewards for health care workers: the order of Nikolay Pirogov medal and Luke of Crimea. They will be handed to the medics and volunteers for achievements in fighting the disease and saving patients.
Vladimir Putin talked with doctors from different regions of the country via videoconference. He once again stressed the heroic work of all, without exception, professionals. The President noted that their service will forever go down in the history of medicine, the history of the country, as well as service of doctors during the war.
Earlier NEWS.ru reported that incentive payments to physicians who are treating infected COVID-19 patients will be allocated more than 1 billion rubles. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
