MSK Zilinas existence hangs by a thread. The Slovak topklub has been put under administration and in liquidation.

In 2017 was Zilina knocked out of the Champions League-qualification FC Copenhagen. Shortly after bought the FCK defender Denis Vavro, in Slovak club. He has since left the Danish hovedstadsklub.
The past Esbjerg goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka came in 2014 to the west jutland club from Zilina.
Samuel Mraz, as Brøndby currently a tenant in Italian Empoli, also has a past in the Slovak club.
