Borussia Mönchengladbach has found a new coach in Daniel Farke, the club has announced.
Contract perfect: Daniel Farke is the new coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach. He follows the hapless Adi Hütter. This marks the end of a feverish search for the foals. Most recently, Lucien Favre canceled the Gladbachers. Sporting director Roland Virkus is satisfied: “In Daniel Farke we were able to hire a coach who fits exactly the path we want to take.” Christopher John and Edmund Riemer support us as assistant coaches.
Short, compact, clear
A lot of experience: Farke has already shown what he can do in the Premier League. So he managed to get promoted to the first division with Norwich City, after relegation he managed to get promoted again. Most recently he worked as a coach at the Russian club FK Krasnodar. However, he quit the job because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Farke has clear goals: “I like it when I can take a club to a higher level. For example: forming a team from a middle-class club that can play in Europe. Or turning a Europa League team into a Champions League team.”
