the Swedes got from several pages open criticism in order not to see coronakrisens seriousness in his eyes.
The most recent time, however, it appears that the seriousness of the gravity is gone, up for our neighbours to the east and now to such an extent that, in the Region of Stockholm has taken very drastic steps.
Earlier in the day on Friday the 3. april – entered a special krisesituationsaftale in force in the capital region.
With this agreement, the health care workers ordered to work 48 hours a week, just as they can be forced over the municipality and regiongrænser to work there, where there is most need for them.
in return, they receive a pay increase of 120 percent, and the maximum work 48 hours per week for a maximum period of four weeks.
The special kriseaftale entered force after high wake-up call from the hcp at the stockholm intensive care units, as recent days have seen a sharp increase in the number of admissions.
“During an acute crisis situation, where the objective is to ensure personaletilgangen to be able to treat the sick and save lives, it is necessary with an increased flexibility for employers and employees,” says Ulf Olsson, viceordfører in forhandlingsdelegationen in Sweden’s Municipalities and Regions (SKR), as part of the justification to introduce krisesituationsaftalen.
Alarming development
The senete sick – and death toll reported so far is 6.078 confirmed infected with Covid-19 in Sweden. In Denmark, the figure is 3.757 registered infected.
In Sweden, 333 died. In denmark, 139 lost their lives as a result of the Covid-19.
And in total there are 363 in intensive care in Sweden, while in Denmark, 143.
Sweden’s prime minister Stefan Löfven stresses in an interview with the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter (DN) that the situation is deadly serious.
He says that’s going to take months before coronakrisen is over and under control, and that the swedes, moreover, already now must prepare itself for thousands of deaths.
“We are going to count the dead in thousands. We can just as well prepare ourselves. Other countries have been a faster process, we have deliberately tried to stretch it out, but it does not mean automatically, that we get less severely sick or less dead. We are stretching it out so the hospital system can get an opportunity to handle it,” says the prime minister to DN according to Afton Bladet.
Krisesituationsaftalen, which has just been introduced, was adopted back in 2018, when Sweden for several months was plagued by a large number of forest fires.
the Agreement includes all of the 1.2 million employees in the country’s municipalities and regions – including staff in the health service and the health care sector.
