Chinese archaeologists announced significant progress in excavations of prehistoric settlements in the area of Shuanghuyu in the suburb of Zhengzhou, which is more than 5 thousand years.
Shuanghuyu the settlement covers an area of 1.17 square kilometers on the southern Bank of the yellow river near the settlement of HELO. In this regard, Chinese archaeologists have proposed calling the area the ancient Kingdom of HELO, reports Xinhua news Agency.

Between the borders of the settlement from West to East, there are 1.5 thousand meters, from North to South and 780 m. the Settlement had a defensive system of the surrounding three moats and city walls, and relatively well-developed network of roads. In the Northern part of the village was the main residential area of four rows of houses. Near also found a reservoir and a ceramic workshop. In addition, on the territory of Shuanghuyu archaeologists found three cemeteries with the graves of 1.7 million.
At the site were found ceramic products, objects, used for astronomical calculations, and ornaments of bone. According to the researchers, the discovered archeological evidence, there are 5-7 thousand years.
