Sadio Mané’s move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich is becoming more and more likely. Former Liverpool star Steven Gerrard is now advising the Senegalese not to move to Germany. Mané seems undeterred.
Mané plans farewell: Liverpool star Sadio Mané (30) has already informed his teammates, according to a report by “Mirror”, that he wants to leave the club in the summer – despite the recommendation of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard to stay in Liverpool. Mané’s contract runs until the summer of 2023.
No offer: So far there has been no official offer to Liverpool FC for Mané. Many top European clubs have apparently expressed an interest in the player, especially FC Bayern, who may have to compensate for the departure of Robert Lewandowski.
Gerrard sees no reason: Gerrard tells BT Sport: “[Mohamed] Salah has already said he will be here next year, I know there is a bit of noise about Mané but why leave this Liverpool side want knowing she will be competitive at the end of the season?”
