An ode to the PSL
If being basic is considered wrong,
then I don’t want to be right.
With just one sip of that Pumpkin Spice Latte,
I find myself yearning for a felt hat,
and contemplating how to master
the art of using a curling iron.
Suddenly, I’m headed towards
the nearest pumpkin patch,
in search of the ideal candid photo
with an open-mouthed laugh.
On my way back, I stop by Target,
picking up a rustic chic
“LIVE LAUGH LOVE” sign.
As the cinnamon-induced euphoria fades,
I ponder how I ended up
wearing stylish riding boots
and having my hair bayalaged.
