Citizens of Belarus showed record activity in the course of early voting in the presidential elections, held from 4 to 8 August. As follows from the data of the Central Commission for elections and referenda, their vote in these five days gave 41.7 per cent of the approximately 6.8 million voters included in the lists. This is approximately 5 percent higher early turnout in presidential elections in the Republic of 2015.
