the RT, based on Rosstat published statistics on the average salary in Russian regions for January, February and March 2020, has made a rating of regions with the highest average earnings for the entire first quarter.
So, the ranking is headed by Chukotka. In this region the highest average salary for the period of the year was recorded at 109,1 thousand rubles.
After Chukotka follow YANAO (101,5 thousand rubles), Moscow (95.5 thousand rubles), Magadan oblast (89.5 thousand rubles) and Sakhalin (89,4 thousand rubles).
According to Rosstat, the lowest average salary in the first three months of the current year were received by the inhabitants of the Ivanovo region (27 thousand), Dagestan (27.2 thousand rubles), Kabardino-Balkaria (27,5 thousand rubles), the Altai Krai (27.6 thousand rubles) and Karachay-Cherkessia (27.6 thousand rubles).
In General, for I quarter of current year the average salary in Russia amounted to 48.3 thousand rubles.
