Zverev noted that the daily increase in the infected is influenced by the number of tests.
“Earlier, we also recorded the decline, but it fell on Sunday, Easter. I think less has been done the tests,” he said.
According to Zverev, in order to conclude about the reach a plateau, you need to observe your statistics at least another couple of days, and it is better to wait until the end of the week.
“In the beginning, the number of patients literally doubled and even tripled. But now these stable numbers. If during the week these stable numbers hold, it means we reached the level, when the expected rise is not to be”, – he explained.

He also believes that statements about reaching the plateau needs at least one more week of observations, and while it is impossible to even talk about the peak.
