"According to preliminary information, the convicted person has committed suicide", – said the Agency interlocutor.
Earlier, the Commissioner for human rights in the Irkutsk region Victor Ignatenko said that under the rubble after a fire in the penal colony, where prisoners staged riots and arson, discovered the body of one convict. As reported TASS a source in the emergency services, the colony fire destroyed, according to preliminary data, eight facilities, including production plant located in the industrial zone of the colony. Total fire area was 30 thousand sq. m.
