Vice-President of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Dmitry Gorin called for the resumption of travel out of the country abroad. In his opinion, this will happen after the opening of borders to international traffic and the reopening of embassies. Estimated ATOR, they shall open approximately June 15, reports TASS.
Gorin emphasized that it is best to plan tourist trips for the third quarter of the current year (July-September). This summer, according to the representative of the Association, will be popular travel food map of Russia from behind the closed hotels. As Vice-President of the Association reminded that the domestic tourism in Russia will start from June.
According to Gorin, Sakhalin, Chukotka and Altai awaiting travelers after the removal of all restrictions. “Tour operators are prepared to Charter flights not only in the southern regions of our country. Russia has closed its borders since March 30, 2020 to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The right to cross the border have only military and civilian personnel of the Russian military bases overseas, workers in the nuclear industry involved in the construction of overseas ships ‘ crews, as well as diplomats, bound for Kaliningrad transit passengers and Russians going abroad for the funeral of a relative.
