Canadian hotelier Germain Hôtels announced the inauguration of its 19th establishment and the construction of a 20th hotel last week.
It is in Calgary, in the new University District community – the first in Alberta certified LEED-ND Platinum – that the Alt hotel is located, the group’s third establishment in the Alberta metropolis and first opening since the pandemic. This hotel will also be the first LEED Silver certified for Germain Hôtels.
The next hotel, also under the Alt brand, will be located at the Ottawa airport. A project valued at $55 million, scheduled to open in 2025.
