“The headphones” combine balanced sound, comfortable padding and active noise cancellation with Bluetooth multipoint function – and at the best price of just 69 euros. The wireless over-ear headphones were created in cooperation with the CHIP test center.
The experts at the “CHIP Test Center” have advised the developers of a headphone with their experience from hundreds of product tests. The result is a model that has been optimized in terms of value for money in several development cycles and can now be purchased on DasProduct.de for 69 euros.
The graduate engineers and IT specialists at the CHIP test center have been testing all relevant technology products that come onto the market in Germany for decades. Of course, this also includes headphones, of which far more than 100 models from the most important manufacturers can currently be found in the CHIP leaderboards. The specialists tested each individual device for more than 40 hours – and in the process developed a highly precise and reproducible system to find out: What makes good headphones? With this expertise, the CHIP test center has now contributed to the development of a new headphone in a special cooperation. The result was “The Headphones – One for All”, a comfortable over-ear model with Bluetooth, active noise cancellation, hands-free function and control buttons. A real all-round headphone for on the go, for the office, during sports or at home. The most important criterion was the tuning of the sound: Here the test center experts attached importance to a balanced relationship between highs and lows and a strong three-dimensionality. The active noise suppression can be switched on at will; the integrated microphone was optimized through several test runs in the CHIP test center. This makes the “headphones” the ideal companion for telephone calls and video conferences.
In the previous headphone tests in the CHIP test center, some headphones that actually sound great lost many valuable rating points: because they felt uncomfortable after wearing them for a long time. To rule this out, the test engineers advised shaping the ear cups of the “headphones” in such a way that they always lie comfortably over the ear cups with different head shapes. In addition, the soft headband ensures that ” The Headphones ” sit comfortably and securely even after hours of use.
While sound and wearing comfort are the most important quality features of headphones, nothing important should be missing when it comes to equipment. Only then can it be optimally used in everyday life. Thanks to multipoint Bluetooth, “The Headphones” can be paired with two Bluetooth devices such as a notebook and cell phone at the same time.
In addition, “The Headphones” can also be connected via a jack cable – for cases in which Bluetooth is currently not available. Music playback, phone calls and volume can be controlled quickly and intuitively via the built-in buttons on the right earcup without having to take the phone out of your pocket and unlock it.
The integrated lithium-ion batteries allow a runtime of 18 hours with noise cancellation switched on or 33 hours without ANC and are charged via a widely used micro-USB cable. This is also included in the scope of delivery, as is a practical transport case, a jack audio cable and an airplane adapter.
