FC Bayern has made itself vulnerable in the transfer tug of Sadio Mané – the offers so far have been “ridiculous”, Liverpool FC officials are quoted as saying. The bold clauses that Munich wanted to negotiate are particularly irritating. Spartak Moscow used this for biting mockery.
Ridiculous offer: Because the Russian first division club Spartak Moscow has allowed itself a hearty fun, as “T-Online” reports. On its English-language Twitter account, the club shared an alleged offer from FC Bayern for striker Aleksandr Sobolev.
Short, compact, clear
Crazy offer: “We offer a fee of 1,000 euros with the following possible bonus payments: 10 million euros if Bayern wins the Eurovision. €15m if Manchester United wins a trophy. €20m if Lionel Messi joins Real Madrid.”
Questionable clauses: The Russians are alluding to the crazy clauses that FC Bayern had built into their offer for Liverpool winger Sadio Mané. After the relatively low base sum of 27 million euros, the Jürgen Klopp club should receive another 7.5 million if the Munich team wins the Champions League three times in a row and Mané the Ballon d’Or.
