Mobile detect low-altitude targets “Rosa-RB-M” adopted by the defense Ministry of Belarus. Military experts remind that in many armies of the world precision-guided missiles, able to get close to the goal, avoiding any raised obstacles, became a serious strike force.
For the rapid detection of such threats, BelTA learnt from a source in the State military-industrial Committee, and will serve as the Belarusian machinery.
the Station, designed in “KB Radar”, says the Agency, is deployed in position automatically. High accuracy of detection in the range of 120 km at low altitudes allows to detect not only aircraft but also unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles. Moreover, said its creators, the installation is able to work, even if the opponent puts active and passive interference.
In the Armed forces of Belarus in the current year have already been transferred to two of “Rosa-RB-M”, which is constructed on the basis of the “circular digital active phased array antenna, which puts it on par with the most technologically advanced in the world,” confirmed the Agency Goskomvoenproma.
