Eintracht Frankfurt want Lucas Alario from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. With a change, the club would strengthen the squad, especially with regard to the upcoming triple burden in the new season.

Does Alario Frankfurt support the triple burden? Lucas Alario’s suspected move from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Eintracht Frankfurt is said to be imminent, as “Sky” reports. Only the framework conditions still have to be worked out. A transfer would mean a further strengthening of the squad for the next mega season in which the club has to defy the triple burden of the Bundesliga, the DFB Cup and the Champions League.

Short, compact, clear

Transfer fee as a point of contention: According to the report, Leverkusen should demand 6.5 million euros for Alario. Eintracht, however, are hoping to land the 29-year-old striker for a smaller fee. The Argentina international joined the Werkself five years ago from River Plate for 24 million euros.

Alario’s performances: Alario managed to score seven goals in 33 games last season. His contract with Leverkusen ends in 2024.
