Lucas Alario did not get beyond the role of joker at Bayer 04 Leverkusen last season. Now Eintracht Frankfurt wants to sign the Argentine.
Eintracht wants Alario: According to “Kicker”, Eintracht Frankfurt is interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Lucas Alario. A change to the southern Hesse is therefore already within reach – the talks between the SBU and the Argentine are said to be well advanced. In addition, the 29-year-old has an exit clause of around 6.5 million euros.
Short, compact, clear
Disappointing Bayer balance sheet: Leverkusen cannot be satisfied with the Alario personnel. In 2017, the striker switched from River Plate to the Werkself for 24 million euros. In terms of sport, however, the Argentine sold himself too often undervalue. Last season, the 29-year-old only started five times, scoring just six times in a total of 27 Bundesliga appearances.
New offensive forces for Bayer? That’s another reason why the Werkself want to invest in offense this summer. After Adam Hlozek, Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk is now also to be signed. The 20-year-old left winger is said to cost around 20 million euros.
