A new trailer takes us directly into the candy pink world of the Barbie movie, and gives a better glimpse of the tangy tone that the film directed by Greta Gerwig, one of the most anticipated of the summer season, will take.
Starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, the film based on Mattel’s iconic doll will be released on July 21. In the trailer, we see a completely made-up world in vibrant colors, populated by Barbie and Ken, and which unfolds at breakneck speed on the waves of Fun Fun Fun by The Beach Boys.
The cast of the film is, of course, brilliant. Many actors seen in the ad were already known, such as Simi Liu, Will Ferrell, America Ferrera and Emma Mackey, but added to this impressive list of stars, among others, Johan Cena and singer Dua Lipa.
