Malia Obama, the daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama, will soon sign a short film produced by Gilga, the company of actor, director and musician Donald Glover (Childish Gambino).
Glover, who writes and directs the popular series Atlanta, announced in an interview with GQ that his production company will support the film of the daughter of the former president of the United States.
Malia Obama has already recently collaborated with Donald Glover on the new series Swarm, broadcast on Prime Video, for which she had worked on the staging.
We still know very little about the plot of the short film that Malia Obama will write and direct. The 24-year-old had previously been an intern on Lena Dunham’s Girls series in 2015.
