Bushido and his former business partner Arafat Abou-Chaker once bought a park-like property with three villas in the Berlin suburb of Kleinmachnow. Two belonged to the clan leader, one to the rapper. Now Bushido’s luxury property has been foreclosed on. The 21-year-old son of the clan leader was awarded the contract.
On Wednesday, the shared villa of Bushido and Arafat Abou-Chaker was foreclosed on in the Potsdam district court. The ex-business partners had once bought the property on which the property in question stands together in the luxury suburb of Kleinmachnow. The owner company was to be abolished by the auction.
According to “Bild”, there was initially a surprise at the auction. According to the medium, when the court clerk Silke Tischbein opened the procedure for bids at around 10.30 a.m., no one spoke up. It was only around 10:50 a.m. that one of Abou-Chaker’s sons submitted the first offer: 7,401,500 euros. Shortly before 11 a.m., the 21-year-old is said to have been awarded the contract.
The 21-year-old Ahmed deposited a security deposit of 1.4 million euros – it was unclear where this sum came from, according to the “Bild” newspaper. The eldest son of Abou-Chaker’s five children lives with his biological mother, who is separated from Abou-Chaker. Because of his name, he didn’t get a place at university, says Abou-Chaker in a “Youtube” interview. Now, however, he is studying, namely “Online trade or online business”.
The 7.4 million euros corresponded to the minimum amount that had to be offered at the first appointment for the foreclosure sale. According to the so-called market value, which the court had named, the property is valued twice as high and is more than 14.8 million.
The imposing home sits on a 16,600-square-foot lot owned by both Abou-Chaker and Bushido. The park-like area includes two more villas where the family of the clan chief lives. The vacant and now auctioned property belonged to Bushido. As the former owner of the villa, he now received half of the sales price at 3.7 million euros. All three properties can only be purchased together.
The Berlin Regional Court has also been dealing with the dispute between the former business partners in a criminal case since 2020 – with Bushido as a joint plaintiff and witness. Arafat A.-Ch. and three brothers of the clan chief. The charges are deprivation of liberty, attempted aggravated extortion, coercion, dangerous bodily harm, insult and infidelity.
According to Bushido, his longtime friend and business partner and his brothers are said to have locked him in an office on January 18, 2018, insulted him, threatened and injured him. The background is said to have been that the clan chief did not accept that Bushido had dissolved the business relationship.
Numerous witnesses have already been interviewed about the relationship between the former business partners. Rapper Kay One should now also be questioned on Wednesday. The 37-year-old and Bushido had initially celebrated joint successes, followed by a year-long dispute. One day was set aside for interviewing Kay One.
