Artists of the ballet troupe of the Mariinsky theatre became infected with the coronavirus. This was announced by artistic Director of the Mariinsky theatre Valery Gergiev, reports RIA Novosti.
Gergiev said that the theatre has four and a half months there were no cases of infection. But now, according to him, in a ballet workshop were two or three cases of the disease. He also added that while cases are treated at home.
It is noted that in connection with the request of the CPS theater artists regularly pass the tests for the coronavirus, the results of which allowed to work.
Earlier it was reported that 34 employees of the Bolshoi theatre was identified coronavirus. In a press-service Big said that the infected were no external signs of disease — no cough, no high temperature. They were all placed on the home treatment.
