One of the oldest mathematical mysteries, inherited by mankind from the Greek of Archimedes, is called the problem of trisakti angle. A great thinker and one of the fathers of geometry tried to divide the angle into three equal parts with compass and ruler. However, to find a solution failed and bequeathed this mystery to the disciples and descendants.
Note that any student today can easily divide the angle into two halves. Ruler and compass to do enough. Easily can be divided into three equal parts at a right angle by embedding in it an equilateral triangle. The author coped with the task, spending no more than five minutes. However, to divide any angle into three equal parts scientists still could not.
in 1736, the famous French mathematician Pierre Vantsel’, ignoring the conditions of Archimedes on the compass and the ruler, tried to find a “trisection of an angle” by algebraic and… failed. In the future, the decision to seek just stopped. And in 1756-m French Academy of Sciences issued an official verdict is that this task is impossible to solve, and excluded from all textbooks and reference books of the time.
Since then, the puzzle, once occupied the best mathematical minds have forgotten. Lala Gizzatova was looking for the “key” for a few years and, having tried many ways, found a simple and brilliant solution, which, judging by the remaining history records, was Archimedes himself, but to bring it to fruition failed.
According to the teacher, to divide the angle into three equal parts, you need to spend from its base circumference, defer beyond one radius on the bisector that divides the angle in half, and to the so-called outer angle. He will be three times smaller than the specified angle, that is going to be one of the three sections of the conditions of the problem.
moreover, the geometric approach is sure putting on the bisector of the desired number of radii, the angle can be divided not only into three, but five, seven and nine parts – in other words, divide it by any odd number. And this, in turn, will allow you to find a solution to another mathematical puzzle to fit into the circle any regular polygon. In reference books, still claims that inscribe regular polygons with seven or nine sides, a circle is impossible. Isn’t it a discovery?
However, before to realize that the only right decision, Lyalya Gizzatova it was necessary to find a theoretical justification. To this end, it formulated and proved three theorems proving the correctness of the approach. And only then shared with the world his discovery.
– However, talking about it was harder than done, lamented Lala Gizzatova. – From January 2018 called, wrote, pleading with officials from the science about single – hear! But met with deepdick a wall of misunderstanding. Unopened letters returned back. In telephone talks, after that I managed to find the trisection of an angle, promised to call back and no call back. Probably took for a madman. In fact in all textbooks it is written that the solution of this problem has not…
First, the teacher appealed to the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, but from there she was redirected to the Russian Academy of Sciences. In the RAS referred to the reorganization and was asked to write in the mathematical Institute imeni V. A. Steklov, saying that doing higher mathematics, and issues relating to elementary mathematics, the competence of the specially established Institute for work with scientific discoveries.
the Director of this institution, when he heard the voice, “another of the inventor of perpetual motion”, was advised to learn geometry, in which black and white written that the problem of trisakti angle has no solution. And when I started to persuade him, advised first to publish the work in any scientific journal, and then to take time away from academics, recalls this conversation the teacher.
Next was a conversation with Kazan and Novosibirsk branches of RAS, where Lala Gizzatova got an excerpt from Wikipedia. In the end, the letter, the teacher went back to Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, and the circle is closed.
to help Lyalya Gizzatova to convey their ideas to the General public, offer her directly in the wording of the arm with a compass and a ruler. Take videos, as it divides the angle into three equal parts, and then arrange a meeting with Chelyabinsk famous scientist, academician Sergey Matveev and his colleagues-mathematicians from Chelyabinsk state University.
First offer to watch a video solution of the problem of trisakti angle meets the same resistance, which for two years faced the teacher.
This issue was handled by more than one generation of mathematicians, – is indignant Sergey Matveev. – Whatever decision suggested, it is clearly wrong. Otherwise, it’s really a sensation and it is possible to qualify for a Nobel prize.
– But, if you believe the stories, the last three hundred years, not even looking for, and all this time mathematics was by leaps and bounds, trying to make the argument Lyali of Gizzatova. Maybe I should try again? Indeed, in the eighteenth century could be wrong?
the World remains, and its laws – dismisses the argument of the Professor of mathematics Philipp Korablev. – If you throw a stone, he’s on Mars without flying. Of course, we can watch videos and may even not find in that decision a mistake, but it’s definitely there. We would advise the teacher to look for her!
Here’s how! And this expert opinion? Showing considerable perseverance, we did manage to persuade mathematicians to spend five to seven minutes n video. Despite the distrust, the events on the screen gives them genuine interest.
members of the Department to gradually rewind the video and look for “crept” error exchanging lively remarks: “If the decision is based on the fact that it is a rhombus, then it is not true, since two of its vertices are on the circle, And whether these chords pass through the center of the circle? See hand trembled when she drew?”.
And though obvious mistakes that undermine all the mathematical foundations, as warned Philipp Korablev, the move cannot be found, they remain unconvinced: the solution cannot be correct because the opposite is proven! That is the message and asked as delicately as possible to convey to Lyali Gizzatova of Sergei Matveev. And then he added:
– in General… it Was interesting…
Talking about the impossibility to solve the problem of Archimedes, associate Professor Korablev remembered how in high school she suggested the math teacher – probably just tired from class:
– We are half a lesson puzzled and put forward their own versions, of course, initially incorrect. And only after found out that she was just joking, and led us by the nose.
But at least one person from that class did become a mathematician, isn’t it?
Today, to captivate children so that they are at least a five minute put aside your favorite gadgets – not an easy task. And not every school is able to solve it. The interest in the natural Sciences, physics and mathematics that prevailed in the era of space conquest, has fallen dramatically. And awaken he could devotees-teachers, such as Archimedes, mathematics teacher associate Professor Korableva or modest pensioner from Miass Lala Zaripov.
the Energy and passion of this man to be envied. 86 Lala Gizzatova continues to captivate a favorite subject of others. Perhaps that is why it continues to be asked to pull children in mathematics. After her lessons, the student begins to try to understand, rather than memorize, to decide not to write off from the Internet.
Perhaps the Lala Gizzatova really worthy of a Nobel prize? “RG” refers to all who are strong in mathematics and geometry: let’s find the error in the solution proposed by the teacher (your options please send an email to m.pinkus@mail.ru). Maybe there is no error? Solving the problem of trisakti angle, Lala Gizzatova trying to unravel the mystery of the ordinary natural numbers.
