Filmmaker Chloé Robichaud will receive financial support from Telefilm Canada for her adaptation of the film Deux femmes en or.
The project is part of a list of seven French-language feature films funded by Telefilm Canada announced on Wednesday.
After having adapted on the boards the classic of the director Claude Fournier, Catherine Léger will sign the screenplay. Filmmaker Chloé Robichaud (Sarah Prefers Running) unveiled plans to revisit comedy last December.
Among the other funded projects, director and actress Marie Brassard will sign a drama called Le train, and director Ken Scott (Starbuck, Goodbye Happiness) will direct My Mother, God and Sylvie Vartan.
