In St. Petersburg on the 87th year of life died people’s artist of Russia albert Pankow, reports TASS.
“Man of infinite kindness and charm, unparalleled honest and demanding of yourself, while extremely modest and decent – so albert Pavlovich knew and was loved by family and colleagues. The artist is a great school, with great vocal and external data, the Creator of the expressive images in the repertoire of both classical and Soviet repertoire”, – is spoken in the message of the Theatre of musical Comedy where worked Pankov.
Albert Pankow graduated from the Musical College under the Moscow Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky in the class of solo singing, and then began working at the Novosibirsk theatre of musical Comedy. In 1962, he moved into the troupe of the Rostov theatre of musical Comedy, and in 1965 joined the troupe of the Leningrad theater of musical Comedy. At this stage, he has sung more than forty leading heroic roles both in classic operettas and modern musical comedies.
