“In 2020, the expected increase in the production of livestock, including milk and meat. Data for the first five months of this year confirm this,” – said the Minister.
At the same time, according to Dmitry Patrushev, the growth of production of crop and livestock production encourages the development of processing. The growth of food production in the past year amounted to 10 percent compared with the 2017 year, and it is more than 4 more than what was expected. Sausages, flour, processed milk were produced in Russia the same as in 2017.
Growth is observed at the half-finished meat products, pasta, confectionery products. And the growth of sunflower oil production was 15% by 2017 – last year it produced 5.3 million tons. The cheeses showed an increase of 13% – the volume of production last year amounted to 524 thousand tons. Beverages gained 5.8 percent to indicators of the 2017 year.
All of this contributes to the average wage in agriculture, said Dmitry Patrushev. At the end of last year it amounted to 28.4 million roubles, which is 22 percent more than in 2017.
“Announced production figures allow us to speak about achieving in 2019 the vast majority of indicators of food security Doctrine, and it is important that, in General, Russian agriculture has changed its paradigm from import substitution model to export-oriented,” – said the Minister.
According to him, the plan for the export of agricultural products in 2019 was exceeded and reached 25.6 billion dollars. At the end of last year, the growth was 18.4 percent, 7.3 percentage points higher than the target value.
the growth of the level of disposable resources of households in rural areas, the plan was also exceeded by 6.5 percent. On average, one household member per month had more than 20 thousand rubles.
For the two remaining indicators of the program (produced value added of agricultural products and the index of physical volume of investments into fixed capital of agriculture) results not yet announced. However, according to the Minister, they should also be executed.
