The dissatisfaction with Martin Hinteregger (29), which can be heard increasingly in the Frankfurt environment, could result in a change. Hertha BSC Berlin is considered interested.
Hertha as a way out of the dilemma: Hertha BSC’s interest in signing Martin Hinteregger could mean an escape from a real dilemma for everyone involved. As “Sport1” reports, the “old lady” is interested in a transfer from Hinteregger.
Short, compact, clear
Hinteregger faces headwind in Frankfurt: Hinteregger’s star has recently fallen noticeably at Eintracht. Already during the season there were rumors about Hinteregger’s unprofessional attitude, which kept breaking out within the team. This impression was reinforced by working with the Austrian right-wing populist Heinrich Sickl to organize a private soccer tournament.
Half-hearted distancing, unanswered questions: Hinteregger only half-heartedly distanced himself from Sickl, and Eintracht also reacted with irritation. It is now even clear that Hinteregger will take part in the football tournament despite his injury. Hertha sports director Fredi Bobic is considered a Hinteregger fan and could therefore offer him an interesting new sporting home.
