Kevin Spacey assures that the film industry will be ready to hire him if he is cleared of the sexual assault charges against him.
In an interview with Zeit Magazin, a German publication, Kevin Spacey said he was ready to return to public life, adding that he was “not ready to stop working”.
“The media did their best to turn me into a monster, but coming from the people, I saw nothing but affection,” he added.
Kevin Spacey’s trial is due to start on June 28 in London. The actor will face four counts of sexual assault for incidents that allegedly took place between 2005 and 2013.
The actor is currently working on writing screenplays and short films. However, he does not want to discuss his experience as an accused. “I’m not ready to talk about it yet,” he explained.
In October 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of sexual assault in a Buzzfeed article. Last October, a New York jury found Kevin Spacey not guilty. Other charges against the actor were dropped after an alleged victim died and another refused to testify.
