The former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (V convocation), a former member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE Borislav Birch stated that he understood “change” to Ukraine and announced his intention to return to politics and participate in elections of Kyiv mayor. About this politician said in the program “Freedom of speech with Savik Shuster”.
“Now not only Kyiv, but the whole country needs to be saved. Therefore, the policy I’m not finished. Policy if you end up, it comes to you yourself. I continue to do politics. Moreover, I can say that now I have had this evolutionary path and understand what to do, figured out how to change the country. And now I’ll do it. And soon, very soon you will see. There is a new project, there is a political party that is generally a new party, which was not yet in Ukraine… But the main question is, what is the party that will deal with the person and the person’s problem… it is Important that the person eats, what he breathes, what he drinks, what he’s got in the fridge… I want the country changed, because I don’t want her leaving the kids… I want to live in Ukraine”, — said the former MP.
Birch also stated the intention to participate in elections of the mayor of the Ukrainian capital.
“Kiev needs to be changed. I know one thing: if now I have satisfied what is happening in Kiev, I would say: “No, I have no ambition, I don’t go to the mayor, I like everything”. But I don’t like what is happening in Kiev destroyed the green zone, again the construction of uncontrolled, again killing people ecology, and the main question — that in Kiev, people do not live and survive. And I want the people of Kiev lived and was proud that they live in the best city in the world,” added Birch.
We will remind, from February to December 2014, Borislav Birch was head of the information Department of “Right sector” (the organization whose activity is prohibited in Russia).
Birch is known that in 2019 insulted the Russian journalist Olga Skobeeva on the sidelines of the PACE.
