In Moscow, employees of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate actively use quadrocopters to detect illegal buildings and fences. In 2021, the drones spent about 2021 hours in the sky and managed to fly around the city three times.
The department’s fleet of aircraft includes 25 quadrocopters of a wide range of applications equipped with high-quality photo and video cameras, some of them are equipped with high-precision laser scanning systems. Drones are operated by specialists of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate – pilots of quadrocopters.
In 2021, with the help of drones and other innovative technologies, including the use of algorithms and video surveillance cameras, all 146 districts of Moscow were surveyed. Thanks to this, specialists received an up-to-date picture of all problem points in the capital and created a roadmap for working with them.
