Turkish scientists have developed a drug for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection. The drug was developed by VSY Biotechnology and Istanbul University of medical Sciences.
According to the rector of the University of Cevdet Erdol, the medicine showed its effectiveness in laboratory conditions, and now the necessary clinical trials. “We are ready to testing drugs on volunteers with a diagnosis of COVID-19” – quoted Ardola TASS reported, citing the Anadolu news Agency. However, to begin such work, researchers will need permission from the Ministry of health of Turkey.
