People in Russia do not deserve the easing of restrictive measures, as the country is still not out on the plateau for the incidence of coronavirus, the broadcaster said, the General Director of MIA “Russia today” Dmitry Kiselev.
In his Telegram-channel Kiselev predicts that if rates of infection remain the same, then by Sunday the number of infected in Russia will exceed 200 thousand people. In his opinion, the country on a plateau in incidence while “remains a dream” and to blame the Russians themselves.
“Their behavior didn’t deserve the plateau and, thus, easing of restrictions,” said the broadcaster, adding that it is necessary to impose more stringent quarantine measures. “You have to be tougher, otherwise, it will become to lose more and more doctors, and the wave will overflow at the same rate,” — said Kiselev.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the restrictions in different regions will be charged depending on the local situation.
