MOSCOW, may 6 — RIA Novosti. Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the government on the fight against the coronavirus.
At the beginning of the videoconference, the President recalled that in April entered into force two solution packages designed to help the Russians. The first included the support of socially unprotected citizens, as well as small, medium and micro-enterprises are the most affected by coronavirus; the second, credit support to strategic enterprises, small and medium business, additional payments to physicians and other steps.
“today I would Like to hear how, in practice, work support mechanisms, and most importantly — how many people, families, labor collectives such assistance already received or will receive in the near future: don’t once then, and in those terms, which were earlier established”, — said the head of state.
He was also asked to focus on emerging problems and take their solutions, and then their reports were read by the Minister of labour and social protection Anton Kotkov, acting Chairman of the government Andrey Belousov, Minister of health Michael Murashko, Minister of economic development Maxim Reshetnikov and the acting head Minstra Nikita Stasyshyn.
At the end of this meeting, the President urged his colleagues to provide a broad and comprehensive informing citizens about measures of support, and stressed that the methods of assistance should be widely available.

Putin stressed that the heads of regions and members of the government have a great responsibility.
He called on the governors, based on recommendations of the CPS and scientists to make decisions about further actions on the ground, and recalled that the primary job of coordinating all activities to combat COVID-19 should be provided by the government.
