In honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory of the “Turetsky Choir” will be first performed songs of the war years online. To watch the broadcast of the concert “Victory Songs” on the YouTube channel of the choir.
the Artists will perform famous songs — “Buchenwald alarm”, “Katyusha”, “Darkie” and, of course, “Victory Day”. Special guest of the program will be a women’s art group Soprano.
After the broadcast of the concert will include the premiere of a documentary film on the project “Victory Songs”. It is based on a marathon of musical groups, which was held in 12 countries in may 2019. Also the film includes the stories of veterans living abroad, excerpts from songs of the war years, stories of places, feelings and emotions of different people.
“Victory Songs” is a musical project of the famous Russian collectives “Turetsky Choir” and the Soprano, which in 2018-2019, with the support of the government of Moscow was held in the Central squares of the capitals of 14 countries and attracted more than a million members and about 15 million viewers.
for the First time the concert took place on Poklonnaya hill in 2015 in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory. Spectators were 105 thousand people.
In 2017, the project “Victory Songs” was released at the international level: artists performed at the Central square of Berlin, the Gendarmenmarkt (a kilometer from the Reichstag). The concert was attended by about 20 thousand spectators. Online broadcast scored eight million hits.
In 2018-2019 Victory songs sounded from Rome and Berlin to Washington and Beijing. This year the baton was taken over 10 cities of Russia. The pandemic coronavirus as the project moved to the online format.
