And all of these indicators were assessed retrospectively for one or two weeks, due to the incubation period of the disease,” she said.

In the case of the deterioration of the epidemiological situation, restrictive measures can be returned, said Popov. “In accordance with the proposed recommendations of the [CPS] the decision on phased removal of restrictions will take the head of the region, and in the case of complication of epidemic situation restrictive measures can be reopened,” she said.
She added that at present in 68 subjects of the Russian Federation introduced a mandatory mask mode, which gives a positive result. “In some regions have already introduced mandatory mask mode, and that so far, 68 subjects. Certainly, it yields results in declining growth rates”, — said the head of Rospotrebnadzor.
