According to the international group of scientists, from heat waves may be affected up to a third of all people living on Earth. The reason the coming catastrophic situation would be the change in climate due to continuing carbon emissions. For men there is an optimum for activity of the range of average annual temperatures of 11-15 degrees Celsius. For thousands of years humanity lived in a small area of the globe, while technological development is not allowed to expand, the habitat and go beyond temperature niches. At the same time in the next 50 years the geographical position of this niche changed more than six thousand years.
The researchers predicted that the implementation is not the worst-case scenario of climate change approximately one-third of the population will experience average annual temperatures above 29 degrees Celsius, which is currently typical only for 0.8 percent of the planet’s surface.
