the Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov praised proposed by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Germany Andrey Melnik bet on the “return” of Crimea to Kiev. Their point of view, a politician traditionally expressed in his Twitter.
the Ukrainian Ambassador to Berlin Andrew Miller had previously decided to argue with the ex-Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schroeder for his remarks about the Crimea.
the German politician expressed the opinion that no Russian President will never give Crimea to Ukraine, then called to cancel anti-Russian sanctions, introduced by the EU in 2014, as they still achieve nothing.
Miller Then invited the shredder to bet on the “return” of the Peninsula to Kiev. The Ukrainian diplomat said that Crimea will return “to the bosom of mother-Ukraine” during the life of the former German Chancellor.
Pushkov in his Twitter wryly remarked that Schroeder will likely not even notice a “call bet” from the Ukrainian. “Would someone care to make a wager” — he wrote.
Senator called Schroeder a recognized figure in world politics, and Miller is an arrogant Ambassador of a country that is “beg for money” from Germany. “Too different weight categories” concluded Pushkov.
