MOSCOW, may 4 – RIA Novosti. A cassette of previously unreleased composition created by the participants of the British group The Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, will auction in the UK, to information on the website of the auction house Omega Auctions.
According to Omega Auctions, one of the lots at the auction, which will be held may 19, will be a cassette with previously unreleased demo song called “Angel in Disguise” by McCartney and Starr.
it is Noted that the composition was originally planned to include in the album Ringo Starr “Time Takes Time”, but in the end the plans were discarded. The cassette contains two versions of the song: one of them is lo-fi (low quality – ed.) version of the track, where the song sings Paul McCartney with a piano accompaniment and drum machine, and the second “full” Studio version with vocals performed by Ringo Starr, backing vocals and amplified instruments sound. In addition, on the tape there is a recording of the demo version of the song “Everyone Wins” performed by Starr.
According to estimates by the auction house, the cost of tapes can reach up to 20 thousand pounds (24.8 thousand dollars – ed.). For a long time the composition is kept in the collection of a former DJ and program Director of the radio station Radio Luxembourg Tony Prince. It is believed that Radio Luxembourg was first released to the live music of the “fab four”.
