Moscow shopping centers, sports complexes and ENEA are planning to use as a platform for temporary hospitals for patients with coronavirus. This was announced by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin in an interview to TV channel "Russia-24".
Earlier, the mayor said that the temporary hospitals that are built by major clinical institutions for the treatment of infected with a new coronavirus infection in Moscow, will accommodate 10 thousand beds.
"We determined that in large outdoor malls, sports complexes, at ENEA, in shopping malls, we select the facilities to deploy temporary hospitals," he said.
Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin said earlier that the patients in aftercare will be placed in temporary medical hospitals that are built by major clinical institutions. According to the Deputy mayor Anastasia Rakova, the amount of hospital beds to combat coronavirus in the capital will increase from 20 thousand to 28 thousand in the coming days.
