MOSCOW, 30 April/ Radio Sputnik. Work continues on agreeing a joint document of the summit of leaders of the “five” the UN security Council, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
to Organize a meeting of leaders of the countries – permanent members of the UN security Council (Russia, USA, China, France, UK) invited Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the moment all countries have expressed willingness to participate in such meeting. According to Dmitry Peskov, specific information on the date of the summit yet.
Earlier radio Sputnik reported that Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the event should take place in a videoconference format, and also expressed the hope that the full-time UN security Council summit will be held this year.
According to him, we are agreeing the date and content of the communiqué that is planned to be released at the end of this conversation.
