MOSCOW, 30 April/ Radio Sputnik. The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov called the inconceivable message about the alleged attempt to poison the Czech politicians in Prague from Russia. This review, he announced during a press conference at the end of the online meeting of foreign Ministers of “Norman Quartet”, reports RIA Novosti.
the Minister added that hardly anyone “in their right mind” would believe that the Czech Republic deliberately missed lethal means on their territory.
on Monday at the Prague weekly Respekt published an article in which, with reference to a source in the local security services had argued that the alleged three weeks ago in Prague came a man with a Russian diplomatic passport with the deadly poison ricin in a suitcase and proceeded to the Embassy of the Russian Federation to his waiting car.
the Newspaper suggested that the poison may have been intended for two to Prague’s municipal politicians, the mayor of the district Prague 6 ondřej Kolář and primator of Prague, Zdenek Griba which are related to the demolition of the monument to Marshal Konev and the renaming of the square in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the area of Boris Nemtsov. Both policies, according to the newspaper, immediately received protection after arriving in Prague the above men.
Earlier radio Sputnik reported that the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic denied the information about the alleged Respekt the preparation of Russia for the assassination in Prague of politicians, since these speculations are no basis.
