April 29 from the United States returned Home 19 Russian schoolchildren. On arrival they were divided into groups and were sent for observation in different places of Moscow region. The first night many of the guys could not sleep because of the time difference; in addition, they complained of the stuffiness and poor communication. On Thursday, the life was gradually adjusted.
“MK” learned how to feel the new arrivals, talking with those who put our Teens on a plane in new York and with those who are close to them now.
Recall: at the time of closure of the borders in the United States was 74 Russian student. The Russian foreign Ministry said that nothing about the curriculum in which adolescents were overseas, did not know, and the American side does not give accurate information about how many Russian schoolchildren still in their territory. To date, 40 children have returned home “export” the special flights. The Russian Embassy continues to operate the hotline.

According to their parents, some children have been overseas for academic program SSSP (Secondary School Student Program), giving the right to receive the annual visa. Under this program, foreign students from 16 years, continuing as an external student to study in their home schools, for a fee, to obtain 1 or 2 semesters of American secondary education, at the same time improving your English. Guys distribute on the state of American schools in different cities, and they live with host families. The program has existed since 1945 with the support of the US state Department and sponsors, which control the stay of foreign students.

Some of the students about the opportunity to return home reported their Agency, but most parents asked the hotline Rossi��tion of the Embassy.
But not all parents hurry to return their children, says one of the parents. – Visa is still valid, training is ongoing, just started online. Why waste the money?

About a month ago we learned that the need to return students to Russia. My first girl 17 years have lived with me for almost 2 weeks and flew to Moscow on April 14. Wrote yesterday that on April 29 she ended the observation in Moscow, and she returns to her city.
– Many more of our children remains in the United States?
I don’t know. But just a couple of hours ago I wrote in the messenger the mother of another of our high school girls and asked for help. At school her daughter said that all students should leave the campus until may 30. In General, basic communication with parents took over our Embassy. But I live a few moms.

– No, Elvira – gymnast, stands for the American club, we have 3 years from October to may go to Virginia for training and competition. But the daughter is studying in a Russian school, we were in a hurry to write the exam, but it is, however, already moved. I had reported us to the Embassy, I was kept up to date in the chat. Our children, who were in the U.S. without adults, care of the Embassy and volunteers: they identified children made lists and brought to the flight. Some children somewhere in Istra. The evening was unbearably hot, and the water in the cooler was rotten. First thought: in the USA about us our Embassy looked after better than anyone here! I tried to call the CPS, but the call was broken due to bad connection. But managed to contact the camp, they were responsive. And better today: foul water in the cooler was replaced and we cooked porridge on the water, my daughter and meat and do not eat jelly. However, from the dryness of the air her daughter got a nose bleed and Leela stream half hour, but sent us a nurse. The employees come to us in special protective suits.
