From all regions of Belarus and its capital seven capsules with the ground, washed in the blood of soldiers of the great Patriotic war, will be transferred to the Federal government, announced on 30 April, the Minister-counselor of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Belarus Piotr Frolov, BelTA reports.
“Today, during the festive events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the great Victory, in front of the temple-monument in honor of All saints in Minsk will take place the solemn ceremony of transfer of the capsules that will be embedded in the base plates of the main temple of the Russian Armed Forces in Kubinka near Moscow”, – the diplomat said, adding that is to be transmitted to the catalogue of graves, the total number 6807.
In Belarus, said Frolov, a lot is done to preserve the memory of the great Patriotic war. “I admire the training, which is held on the 75th anniversary of the great Victory, – he stated. We equally understand and honor this Victory. Years pass, many political forces in Europe, probably would like to change something, as something different to read. But the failure of their own history, from the achievements and feats that were committed during that difficult time – the path to the abyss. Because history is part of the national identity of the people, and past a bridge to the future and build the future only on the basis of the history.”
